Business and life coach Shirlie Taylor launched her business consulting practice in the summer of 2008. She wanted a site that reflected her personality and style while being simple to navigate and use. In addition, she wanted a password protected section of her site where she could post documents for her client’s use as they began the coaching process.
Taylor’s logo suggested calm waves and a sense of order and space. Her custom site was designed to represent her clean, straightforward professional style. In addition, Taylor often recommends selected readings and offers news and tips to improve the lives of her clients. She wanted a news area where she could share this information with her subscribers. The resulting news section is actually a custom theme blog using WordPress so she can easily and quickly update her site with her latest articles.
CBS designed the site, coded all pages, coded the custom blog theme, wrote all copy and built a custom Flash animation of her logo waves to animate each page.
